The Food Safety & Technical Program of the Northwest Food Processors Association assists members in achieving competitiveness and regulatory compliance. The program focuses broadly on the technical aspects of production management including: operations, food defense, food safety, engineering, packaging, and regulatory compliance.
Priority 1 Manage association involvement in and information sharing of new and changing food processing statutes and regulations at the federal and state levels.
Priority 2 Educate and promote relationship building with key Northwest regulatory agency personnel toward better understanding of industry missions.
Priority 3 Manage technical issues and communicate issue development and scientific advancement of concern to member companies.
